Zeus Digital Theaters Now Offers Closed Captioning
All of movies are available in captions using our Personal Captioning Device,
which sits in the cup holder of the guest and shows just that guest the captions.
This is free of charge. We simply ask for an ID or something to remind you to return it after the show.
Our closed captioning system allows guests to read the dialogue of the shows. By closed captioning, we mean that only those people who choose to read the dialogue will see it. To everyone else in the theater, it will appear as normal.
Our system uses wireless infrared recievers. The unit plugs into the cup holder and the small reader box sits just below the screen. The guest can then read the dialogue of the show.
How To Use It:
To use the closed caption system, simply ask for it at the box office. There is no charge to use the units, but we will ask that you leave a photo ID while you use it. When you enter the theater, simply plug the unit into the cup holder and turn it on using the on/off switch on the right side. The captions will begin with the feature presentation. Unfortunately, movie trailers do not provide the captions. There is a button for language selection, but at this time the captions are only available in English.
When you are done with the show, please return the device back to the front desk and pick up your ID.
Hearing Impaired Units
All our theaters are 100% hearing impared capable. These units are wireless head phones that amplify the dialogue, making it easier for those with partial hearing loss to follow the stories better. These headsets are available at the box office as well.
Zeus is committed to providing a wonderful theater experience to all our guests. Thank you for your patience as we continue to improve our theater.
